Leigh Miller is a collection of fine and contemporary jewelry designed and produced by Leigh Miller Newman in Los Angeles, CA.

Leigh received her formal education in fashion design from OTIS College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, graduating in 2002.  Shortly thereafter Leigh moved to New York, where she worked as a designer for J.Crew and Calvin Klein, among others.  After nearly a decade in fashion Leigh was drawn to the freedom of expression inherent in metalworking and jewelry.

Inspired by natural patterns and forms translated into metal, Leigh works in unconventional methods. Using the ancient tradition of lost wax casting, she sculpts in molten wax, casts her pieces, and hand-hammers them into intimately organic forms.  The collection is crafted in a full spectrum of metals: from brass and bronze to sterling silver, pink, and yellow gold. A selection of pieces also feature semi-precious stones and Japanese silk cording.

In December of 2014, Leigh launched her collection at Creatures of Comfort, where the line was carried exclusively for the winter season.

The collection has since been featured in several publications including the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Spanish Vogue, Elle, Brazilian Elle, Porter Magazine, Bust Magazine, Who What Wear, Man Repeller, Women's Wear Daily, Instyle, & Allure among others.
