This is a trial sample, intended to be reviewed by a client considering a fine jewelry purchase, and returned upon reviewing.
Noeud- which means knot in French- was a clear inspiration for this bracelet.  After months of developing her ability to work with this special wax, some of the most successful forms- such as the ones found in this bracelet- were achieved in a matter of minutes, when Leigh let the wax inform what it wanted to be.  Uniquely knotted golden shapes are connected by individually crafted loops and finished with a hand-formed ‘S’ clasp to create a noteworthy statement bracelet.

To design her inaugural fine jewelry collection, Leigh searched for years until she found the perfect wax-working method to translate her design sensibility to a finer scale.  Working in an ancient Japanese formulation, a combination of beeswax and pine resin, Leigh artfully folds and stretches the wax to create the curved and knotted forms composed of fine striations throughout each piece. Somehow delicate yet substantial at the same time, each piece is an elegant play of contrasts, a miniature art piece to accompany you through your day.

  • Engraved with maker's mark and fineness mark.
  • Bracelet is 7.75" in length.  Different lengths can be ordered.
  • Bracelet is finished with a safety clasp.
